Battle of Waynesboro - Mar 6 - Mar 7  145th Anniversary Battle of Waynesboro.
Battles. Saturday is defeat of Early?s army in the Shenandoah Valley by Custer?s mounted and dismounted cavalry. Sunday Manassas rearguard action. Saturday Confederate memorial service, Sunday memorial and Iron Cross installation at Maj. William Patrick's grave. $5 over age 12 before Jan. 31, $10 after. Reenactor raffle free for pre-registered. Proceeds to preservation of historic Plumb House. Sponsored by Waynesboro Heritage Museum. Hosted by West Augusta Guard & Signals Section A

  Battle of Spotsylvania -  May 21- 23      Saturday at 6 PM is a bluegrass concert     Registration $8.00 before May 14th


Confederate Memorial Day -  May 30            
Confederate Memorial Day ceremony at Warrenton Cemetery, 2 p.m. Strewing of flowing on mass grave of nearly 600 soldiers, color guard, wreath-laying at mass grave and grave of Capt. John Quincy Marr of Co. K, 17th Virginia Infantry (Warrenton Rifles), who was killed June 1, 1861, at Fairfax Courthouse. His burial was the first Confederate service in the South and in Warrenton Cemetery. Hosted by Black Horse Chapter #9, United Daughters of the Confederacy, & Black Horse Camp #780, Sons of Confederate Veterans.

 
Battle of Cold Harbor - Jun 5 - Jun 6            
Anniversary of the Battle of Cold Harbor, General Grant's greatest regret, in Hanover County. Confederate & Union living historians, ranger walking tours, artillery & rifle demonstrations, kids' activities. Concert June 5 at 8 p.m. followed by candlelight battlefield tours starting at 8:30 p.m
